Trees of Remembrance at Middleton Grange Raises Over £4,500 for Alice House Hospice
The Trees of Remembrance returned to Middleton Grange this festive season, helping the community remember loved ones while supporting the vital work of Alice House Hospice.

Shoppers were able to purchase a bauble to hang on the Trees of Remembrance, with all proceeds going directly to the Hospice. Thanks to the community’s generosity, Alice House Hospice raised a fantastic £4,521.68, helping provide vital care and support to patients and families across Hartlepool and East Durham.
The initiative provides a meaningful way for people to celebrate the memory of loved ones while supporting the Hospice’s essential services. The support of the Hartlepool community made 2025’s Trees of Remembrance a resounding success.
Janice Forbes, the Hospice’s Community Fundraiser has managed this project for over ten years and provided a heartfelt message of thanks, on behalf of the Hospice and those accessing its services: “We are very fortunate to be able to work with Middleton Grange on this poignant event every year and really appreciate their support – thanks also go to all who have sponsored, volunteered or visited the stall.”
Thank you to everyone who supported the Trees of Remembrance and helped make a difference for Alice House Hospice.
