The Dancing Cup is Coming to Middleton Grange!

Since opening in 2020, The Dancing Cup has grown from a small community café on York Road into a much-loved destination for residents, families, and visitors.

Originally established alongside the Karen Liddle School of Dance, the café was created to provide a welcoming space for dancers, parents, and the wider community to enjoy quality food, great coffee and a friendly atmosphere. Over the past six years it has evolved into far more than a café, becoming a genuine community hub where people meet, relax and connect.

As demand has continued to grow, we have reached the exciting point where we have simply outgrown our York Road home.

We are therefore absolutely delighted to be working with Middleton Grange Shopping Centre to bring The Dancing Cup into the heart of Hartlepool town centre, with a brand-new home at Unit 194.

This exciting move wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic support of the team at Middleton Grange, who have shared our vision of creating a vibrant, independent community café in the heart of the town centre. We are incredibly grateful for their support and are excited to become part of the Middleton Grange community.

The move will allow us to welcome even more customers while continuing to offer the same friendly service, freshly prepared food, homemade cakes and community spirit that have made The Dancing Cup so popular.

Behind the scenes, John Paul and the entire team are working incredibly hard to transform the new premises into a café that everyone can be proud of. There is still plenty of work to do, but we are looking forward to sharing regular updates as the fit-out progresses before welcoming everyone through the doors for our official opening.

This is a hugely exciting new chapter for The Dancing Cup. We can’t wait to welcome both familiar faces and new customers to our new home at Middleton Grange and look forward to sharing more news with you very soon.
