Our Story

OneBeyond was founded by experienced retail entrepreneurs Chris and Christopher Edwards, who previously built Poundworld into a household name with 350 stores across Great Britain and Northern Ireland. After successfully growing and selling Poundworld to private equity firm TPG Capital in 2015, the Edwards brothers recognised a significant gap in the value retail market following Poundworld’s departure from the UK high street in 2018. Drawing on their decades of expertise and passion for value retailing, they created OneBeyond—a modern discount store brand designed to meet the needs of today’s cost-conscious shoppers.
