DinoFest is coming to Middleton Grange!

Get ready for a roarsome summer of prehistoric fun as DinoFest takes over Middleton Grange every Saturday throughout August, from 10am to 4pm!

Across five exciting weeks, young explorers can take part in a different dinosaur-themed activity each week as they train to become fully fledged palaeontologists. On their first visit, children will receive their very own DinoFest report card to collect stamps along the way, with those completing three or more activities earning a special graduation reward at the spectacular finale.

Activities will include making dinosaur terrariums, creating delicious edible prehistoric dirt, decorating dinosaur bags, and designing colourful dinosaurs.

The five-week adventure culminates in a huge Dinosaur Takeover on Saturday 29 August, when Spike the Spinosaurus and Trev the T-Rex arrive at Middleton Grange! Families will have the chance to meet the larger-than-life dinosaurs, encounter adorable baby dinosaurs, and try their hand at uncovering fossils and dinosaur bones in the Dino Dig.

Nik McDonald, Centre Manager at Middleton Grange, said:

“We’re incredibly excited to bring DinoFest to Middleton Grange this summer. It’s going to be five weeks of fantastic free family fun, with something new for children to discover each Saturday. We can’t wait to see our young explorers return week after week, collect their stamps and work towards becoming fully fledged palaeontologists – before coming face-to-face with our incredible dinosaurs at the grand finale!”

DinoFest takes place every Saturday throughout August – 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 August 2026, from 10am to 4pm.
